RE: Fifth Wheel Tag Renewal
Probably based on value of trailer. Just paid CA $294 for our 2015 Crossroads Rushmore.

I had a similar problem. Irvine Shade helped me troubleshoot and sent repair parts - no charge.

RE: Window Problems
Well, this seems to be a first for this forum. It seems no one has had a problem like this before as I have received no responses. Maybe someone will respond this time around.

RE: Bent Frame?
I think the stabalizer jacks would bend before you could damage the frame. Also, it is recommended that you bring in the slides before hooking up.

RE: Problem with Photo
...Too bad your Norton anti virus is blocking the site.
Many including myself have no problem with the site.
May want to check your Norton settings or disable it when posting pictures.
Norton didn't actually block the website, it just said it was a known "dangerous website". I chose not to go there. Can't see paying for Norton, and then ignoring the warnings it sends. However, I have notified Norton that possibly they have mis-characterized the site and should remove the warning. I'll see how they respond.

RE: Problem with Photo
Hi 1492,
Thanks for the help. I was wondering how I would construct the link for my other picture which is "https://ibb.co/fH8XB2h". Where did you get "i.ibb.co/Ry0S4kS" as part of the link you put together? This was not either of the two links I tried to post.
Thanks

RE: Problem with Photo
Try using the photo posting link that 1492 put up for us. Works every time. Kudos to 1492
1492 photo posting URL
Easy to use, just follow the instructions.
My Norton Anti-Virus says it's a "Dangerous Website" and recommends against going to it. I think I tried it once before with the same results. Too bad the host of the website hasn't corrected whatever is causing the warning. I'm not going there.

RE: Replace Girard tankless how water heater
I don't think your problem has anything to do with the tankless water heater. With any water heater, you're going to have to wait for the hot water to travel from the heater to the faucet your using (about a quart).
I had the same problem with trying to use the "button" on the shower head to turn off/on the shower (what you call a sub-shower) - getting a blast of cold water. Research indicated there might have been a solution that involved installation of a check-velve in the hot water line to prevent cold water from backing into the hot water line. Instead, I went to using the water valves instead of the "button" for sub-showers. Problem solved.

RE: Tips on how to hook up at an extreme angle?
That's the thing about a manual slide. You have to think about using it. With my auto slide, I'm using it every time I turn, in a parking lot or elsewhere, without having to think about it!

Window Problems
I have two problems with one of my windows. The window is the type that slides upward by releasing the catches at the top of the pane and pulling up on the lip (frame). First problem is that the lip (metal frame) is no longer attached to the glass, and pulling up just separates the frame from the glass. The frame has a u-shaped channel that the glass slips into, and there is a thin length of rubber that wraps over the top of the glass and then the u-channel slips over the rubber and the glass edge.
It doesn't look like any adhesive was used to attach the metal lip to the glass edge. (Maybe that's the cause of the problem.) Has anyone dealt with this problem before? Any suggestions as to what type of adhesive to use? I'm thinking I need to glue the rubber to the glass, and the metal to the rubber.
The second problem with the same window is that the bottom wiper-type seal has shrunken, resulting in a gap between the seal and the glass.
Here is a photo of the seal:

I want to replace the seal. Has anyone done this before? Is it difficult? Any tips?
Thanks

RE: I have a disgusting problem… HELP!!!
So, two trailers were occupied for 2 years and producing how much waste over that period? Let's assume each trailer had a black tank capacity of 25 gallons and to be conservative, let's assume it took a week to fill them up. Then, total waste produced over two years: 104 weeks X 25 gallons X 2 trailers = 5200 gallons. The 8 barrels held 55 X 8 = 440 gallons. So where did the other 4760 gallons of waste go? How were they disposing of it when not putting it in barrels? With such a small opening in the top of the barrels, how did they get it into the barrels? Using a funnel? Inquiring minds want to know.

RE: Tips on how to hook up at an extreme angle?
Martyn suggested, "have a friendly neighbor hitch up to your trailer and pull to a spot where you can hitch up straight."
This alternative would also require that the locking plate be removed before hitching up with another hitch.
Not so - the locking plate is on the Demco hitch - the pinbox on the trailer is unaltered. That's one of the reasons I bought the Demco over the other slider, as their locking plate is on the pin box. Anyone can pull my trailer.....
I think it must depend on which pinbox a person has because my Demco auto-slider required a locking plate on my Trailair Flex Air pinbox. I know because (1) I installed it, and (2) I have to periodically remove it to grease the pinbox, and (3) I once had to remove it so a AAA tow truck could hook up to my trailer.

RE: Tips on how to hook up at an extreme angle?
Can rails be removed with the pullrite?
The problem is with the locking plate, not the rails. If you have a locking plate, then the rails serve no purpose. In fact, I had to permanently remove the rails on mine due to the type of pinbox I had.
